Zachary Adams, who was indicted last week in the Holly Bobo disappearance, has been charged with meth possession in jail.
After Adams was transferred from Decatur County Jail to Chester County Jail on March 1, meth was found in his possession.
Illana Tate, TBI spokeswoman, confirmed that Zachary Adams had been charged with both possession and having meth in jail. It has not been confirmed how Adams obtained the methamphetamine, only that the drug was located during a routine search.
Tate said that TBI Director Mark Gwyn mentioned in a legislative hearing on the effects of meth that Adams had tried to take meth into jail with him.
Tate also said these charges are not in connection with the Bobo case.
