Since 1987, March has been nationally recognized as Women’s History Month, a month dedicated to the recognition of the accomplishments of American women past and present.
As always, UTM, along with the rest of the Martin area, will be taking part in several different events throughout the month to commemorate the 27th anniversary of Women’s History Month.

The program features Dr. Teresa Collard, assistant professor of Communications and director of the UTM Women’s Center. Collard will lead a discussion as well as preview her upcoming piece on activist Elizabeth Cady Stanton. A potluck dinner will be served.
