UTM ranks well in 2020 colleges poll

UTM made several appearances within the 2020 U.S. News & World Report college rankings.

The university received top ranks on the lists of Regional Universities within the South (12th), Best Universities for Veterans within the South (16th), Best-Value Universities within the South and Regional Universities for Upward Mobility within the South (36th).

The University was ranked 39th among the Best-Value Establishments within the South. UTM was recognized for “Upward Mobility,” which is awarded for how well a school helps Pell Grant eligible students succeed.

The Princeton Review listed UTM among the most effective Southeastern schools for the 17th consecutive year, and Washington Monthly ranks the university 31st in their ā€œBest Bang for the Buckā€ class for southern colleges. UTM is the top-ranked public establishment in Tennessee on this list.

According to UTM Chancellor, Dr. Keith Carver, ā€œUTM strives to be a premier regional university, and rankings like those printed by U.S. News & World Report and also the Princeton Review solely make sure what we have a tendency to already understand ā€“ that UTMā€™s high-quality, cheap degree programs prepare our students to achieve success within the skilled world.”

According to RNCareers.org, UTMā€™s Nursing program is tied for the highest bachelorā€™s degree in Nursing within the country. UTM is among 13 universities to get a perfect score during this ranking, which considers multiple years of information from the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses.

UTMā€™s choice of online programs received high praise during the summer as well. The universityā€™s online offerings in its entirety are listed third on Study.comā€™s list of the foremost cheap on-line schools.

UTM is the second Tennessee establishment on this list, trailing behind Vanderbilt University in second place.

The bachelorā€™s program in Business Administration is 22nd overall and first in Tennessee on AffordableSchools.netā€™s list of the top-value business administration online degree programs in 2019.

The Master of Business Administration degree has attained a spot in two separate rankings for price and quality. The program is fifth among the most effective online MBA degree programs in Tennessee by MBACentral.org and 32nd overall among TheBestSchools.orgā€™s list of the foremost cheap online MBA programs within the nation.
