Two arrested in home invasion robbery

The Martin Police Department made two arrests yesterday in the investigation of the June 20 armed robbery case.

Suspects Cordarion Thompson, 18, of Martin, and Marcus Bardwell, 20, of Sharon were arrested Tuesday in connection to Friday’s incident, which took place at 102 Moody Street in Martin, according to the Martin Police Department press release.

The suspects are currently awaiting arraignment in the Weakley County Detention Center. The investigation is still classified as ongoing, and more arrests are expected. More information will be reported as it becomes available.
