Top 5 Friends episodes celebrating 25 years

2019 marks the 25th Anniversary of the 90s sitcom Friends. So, I thought I would share my top five favorite Friends moments.

5. The episode “The One with All the Cheesecakes” gave viewers a glimpse into the friendship of Chandler and Rachel. The two friends bonded over “stealing” a neighbor’s delicious cheesecakes until eventually the last one arrived. They liked the cheesecakes so much they even ate it off the floor. The part that had me laughing the most was when Joey came along and saw them, but he did not question it. He pulled out a fork from his jacket and joined right along with them.

4. “The One Where Ross is Fine” is one of my favorite episodes. Rachel and Joey had started dating, and to prove that he was okay with it, Ross hosted a double date at his apartment. Ross had a Mexican-themed dinner with fajitas and margaritas. Ross got drunk and started “explaining” what L-O-V-E stands for. I die of laughter every time I hear his high pitched EEEEEE. The part that makes me fall out of my chair laughing is when the oven dinged and Ross shouted “MY FAJITAS.” Then he went to get them out of the oven, but he was so drunk he forgot to put on oven mitts and didn’t really notice his hands were burning. Ross just ended up saying that it was going to hurt in the morning.

3. The episode titled “The One with the Baby Shower” provided fans with a hilarious interaction between the three male friends. Joey had an audition to become the host of a brand-new game show called “Bamboozled” but no one understood the rules. As the episode progressed, viewers saw that maybe the guys had figured out the rules, making Ross and Chandler super competitive. Later in the episode Joey told Ross and Chandler that the show got cancelled. Seeing how upset Ross and Chandler were made me chuckle.

2. “The One with All the Haste” is a hilarious episode showing fans what happens when you gamble. Rachel and Monica thought they knew more about Chandler and Joey than Chandler and Joey knew about them. So, Ross created a “Jeopardy!” style game to see who knew more about whom. Monica said she never loses, but when she did lose, she and Rachel had to give up their apartment to Joey and Chandler. It was the most devastating for Monica, so she tried every way possible to win it back. Also, Mrs. Chanandler Bong.

1. My number one favorite moment on Friends is the episode titled “The One with the Kips.”  In this episode only Joey knew about Monica and Chandler’s relationship, but Monica and Chandler were not ready for everyone else to know, especially Ross. Eventually Rachel and Phoebe found out, but Monica and Chandler didn’t know that they knew. The whole episode went on to see who would crack first in sharing that they knew. My favorite part is when Phoebe tried to seduce Chandler and get him to crack. The ending is the best because it confirmed that Monica and Chandler truly love each other.

If you have ever watched Friends, I hope that my list brought back memories and laughter. If you haven’t, I hope it inspires you to watch it.

Happy 25th Anniversary to everyone’s favorite Friends.
