Students gather for prayer at “See You at the Pole” event

Students gathered outside the Hall-Moody Administration Building at 7:00 a.m., on Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2024, for the annual “See You at the Pole” prayer. Over 40 students and citizens of Martin attended the occasion. The chief organizer of this event was James Crowell, the Secretary of Baptist Campus Ministries at UT Martin. In drizzling rain, the group read scripture, sang songs of worship and prayed together before listening to a brief sermon by Kylan Mann from Central Baptist Church. After a half-hour of worship, the attendees came together and clutched hands for one final prayer before heading to their morning classes.
