Sports Fashion: The White T-Shirt

In this edition of sports fashion we will be covering a very important item when it comes to fashion: The white t-shirt 

In fashion, the white t-shirt has always been a consistent item and is easily one of the most important. The white t-shirt usually will be used as a base to layer other items such as jackets, cardigans, vests and many more. Let’s get straight into it with some outfits that use the white t-shirt. 

Devin Booker is a great shadow when you need a basic outfit but still want to look clean. Here, Booker is seen layering a white t-shirt perfectly. Actually, @Leaguefits on Instagram has a whole post showing just Booker layering a white t-shirt for inspiration. This photo was taken pregame at Footprint Center. Here, Booker is seen wearing a brown patterned flannel paired with a white t-shirt, khaki pants, white Converse and a white snapback hat. 

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, a favorite in the fashion scene by many. For Gilgeous-Alexander continues to show why he is one of the best dressed in the NBA. I specifically chose this Gilgeous-Alexander outfit because I wanted to point out a big factor when it comes to wearing a white t-shirt: jewelry. Another great thing the white t-shirt has to offer is that it makes jewelry pop, and we all know how important that is in the fashion world. We see a lot of unique jewelry from Gilgeous-Alexander and he tends to pair them with a white t-shirt very often. This photo was taken pregame before the Oklahoma City Thunder took on the Portland Trail Blazers. Here Gilgeous-Alexander is seen wearing a Black Leather jacket paired with a white t-shirt, digital camo pants and white Nike Air Force ones. 

Jarred Vanderbilt is definitely a guy I need to showcase more in these articles. Along with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Vanderbilt is another favorite in the fashion scene continuing to show up in great outfits. For this outfit Vanderbilt shows a little more of a classy outfit layering a white t-shirt underneath a double breasted blazer. He also is showing off with his accessories such as his jewelry and his Louis Vuitton toiletry bag. Along with all that, he pairs them with light wash blue jeans and an unknown pair of sneakers. This photo was taken pregame before the Los Angeles Lakers took on the Philadelphia 76ers. 

For this next outfit, we are going to show some love to the WNBA. Cameron Brink is one of the WNBA fashion favorites which is amazing considering her rookie season just ended, which unfortunately for her was cut short due to injury. Though she had injuries she still showed up to games in terrific outfits. In this sports fashion edition, we are going to continue to focus on the white t-shirt. Here Brink, like Devin Booker, shows that you can go basic and still have a great outfit. For Brink she paired the white t-shirt with a trench coat and it works perfectly.
