Sports fashion: Issue 3

Lu Dort has been on an amazing run of outfits. Within the past month he has had many outfits that stand out. It is uncertain if Dort has a personal stylist, but even if he does his outfits are still impressive. Dort really understands proportions and color compliments. This outfit from Dort is a personal favorite of mine from the year. This photo was taken pregame before the Oklahoma City Thunder took on the Houston Rockets. Here Dort is seen wearing a white T-shirt, a grey corduroy cardigan, Dark flared blue jeans, a combat style boot, a chrome hearts beanie and is carrying a green Goyard Saint Louis PM tote. 

Josh Giddey is a fashion standout for his new team, the Chicago Bulls, alongside teammate Talen Horton-Tucker. What sticks out for Giddey is the jackets that he wears. We rarely see Giddey in the same jacket. From Louis Vuitton to Harley Davidson, he has it all. This photo was taken pregame before the Chicago Bulls took on the Boston Celtics. Here Giddey is seen wearing a black wide neck T-shirt, light blue jeans, a brown leather jacket and white low top sneakers. 

Jordan Poole is a guy I have featured before, and if he keeps putting together outfits like this he will continue to be featured. A lot of the time when we think of sports fashion, we only think of the players doing the tunnel walk. Well, that’s not always the case. For most athletes, fashion is a hobby and they dress the way they do every day, not just to look good before games. 

Poole here is also showing what makes a great outfit, and that is accessories. You can make a good outfit great if you have the right accessories. Things such as chains, bracelets, watches, rings, glasses and many more. This photo was taken before a game where the Washington Wizards took on the Los Angeles Clippers. Here poole is seen wearing a grey T-shirt, a camo sweatshirt, light blue jeans and military green Air Force Ones. 

For Ashtyn Davis, this outfit meant a little more to him than usual. If you look in his right hand he is holding his cleats for #mycausemycleat. To sum it up, #mycausemycleat is a big thing for players to showcase awareness for anything they would like. For Davis, his awareness is the Voices for Awareness foundation, Facing Fentanyl. 

For Davis, we do not see him showcased too much, but this year has been a great year for him in fashion. This photo was taken before the New York Jets took on the Seattle Seahawks. Here Davis is seen wearing a white T-shirt, black double-knee carpenter pants, Maison Mihara Yasuhiro Peterson OG Sneakers, black zip-up work wear jacket and a red San Diego Padres fitted hat. 

Jordan Fuller is another guy who has been a fashion standout for a new team, the Carolina Panthers. Fuller was already a fashion stand out when he was with the Los Angeles Rams since his rookie year. Since the beginning of this season, Fuller has been showcased on BlitzFits over 3 times this season and will continue to show out. This Photo was taken pregame before the Carolina Panthers took on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Here Fuller is seen wearing a white t-shirt, wide leg blue jeans, a black leather jacket, dress style shoes and is carrying a black leather duffel bag.  

Kelly Oubre Jr. is a great guy to look at for fashion. His use of proportions and accessories really make him stand out amongst other athletes. It really shows since Oubre was ranked ninth in best dressed players of all time. This season Oubre has been showcased on LeagueFits over five times now, and he is in the running for a spot on the NBA all LeagueFits first team.
