The UTM Office of Admissions would like to invite you to apply to be a Summer Orientation and Registration (SOAR) Orientation Leader. The deadline to apply is November 6, at 5 p.m.
SOAR Staff consists of a group of mature and dedicated undergraduate leaders that assist in the implementation of UTM orientation programs throughout the spring and summer.
An Orientation Leader is the face of UTM, serving as a resource to all new students and parents who are making the transition from their previous environment.
Joining the Summer Orientation and Registration (SOAR) Staff is more than just a summer job; it is an experience. If you are passionate about UTM, want to help new students find their place here at the university, and want to be a part of a team that makes a positive difference for the entire campus community, this is a job for you!
Selection to the SOAR Staff team is a unique honor and a rewarding opportunity for personal and professional growth.
SOAR Leaders are paid $75.00 per session in the summer. SOAR
Orientation Leaders are also required to attend weekly meetings in the spring semester on Monday’s from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm. It is recommended for students only from the main campus apply to be on SOAR Staff.

The deadline to apply is November 6, at 5 p.m. You will then need to sign up for an interview time, SOAR Interview Times. Interviews will take place November 16, 17 & 18.
