Find a way to watch the game

There are many ways to watch the Super Bowl. UT Martin provides access to live and on demand content through Spectrum U. If a student needs help setting up their Spectrum U account they can call IT Help Desk for advice. It is also available on Hulu, FuboTV and YoutubeTV through the Fox channel.

Pick a location

On campus there are many open areas to watch the game, including places like LLCs in Cooper Hall and basements or living rooms of other housing buildings. Make sure to reserve the areas ahead of time if needed.

Secure the food!

There are a variety of options around Martin to provide food for any Super Bowl Party. Best Wings is a local store that could satisfy cravings whether boneless or bone-in. Little Caesars also now offers a new Slices-N-Stix deal for $6.99 that includes four slices of pizza and eight cheese sticks. Some hosts might also opt for a potluck-style party where everyone brings a snack or drink to share with the group that they can get at stores around town. No matter what your team is craving, Martin has you covered this season.

Decorate for the event

Encourage guests to wear the colors of the team they are rooting for this Super Bowl. This gets everyone more involved and can make for some great photo opportunities. You can also decorate with these colors instead of team-branded decorations to save money. Colorful tablecloths and other party supplies can be found at stores around Martin.

Invite your friends

What kind of party would it be without some great guests? Make sure to invite all your friends even if their favorite team didn’t make it to the big stage. Don’t forget to give them notice ahead of time so they can put it in their schedule.

Don’t party too hard

Remember that the game is on a Sunday! Classes will be starting back up again the next day and professors will be expecting to see bright and smiley faces in their classes.
