Nearly six years after the band split up, and four since the band’s Instagram page was deleted, talk about the Jonas Brothers reuniting is getting louder across the nation.
Monday, Feb. 18, sources including Cosmopolitan and US Weekly cited that the three brothers are planning a reunion tour big enough to be from the “Year 3000.” Sources close to the brothers have stated that they are looking to create a documentary as well as a worldwide tour.
The brothers split in late 2013 to venture into careers and lives of their own. Now, after a long break, the brothers are looking into sparking up what they once had but adapting and changing, like their lives have since the band last performed.
The JoBro’s have opted to drop “Brothers” from the band name leaving the tour to be called “JONAS”.
Fans have already shared their interest on social media after the band reactivated their Instagram early last year.
The three spent most of 2018 denying that something was happening with the band, but in 2019 they have confirmed rumors that the plans for the reunion tour are being discussed.
Dates have yet to be set for the tour but many fans have already been bitten by the “Lovebug” again just waiting for them to announce.
They may be changing their image and name for this reunion, but the hearts of most twenty-somethings will always lie with the Jonas Brothers from 2005. This new tour may spark hope to relive the simpler days and remember where we came from.
