A local brewery celebrated the opening of their new Union City location on Friday, Aug. 23.
Reelfoot Brewing Company, founded in 2022 in nearby Trimble, recently moved to a new location in downtown Union City. The 130 South First Street location is in the heart of Union City’s downtown district; located near establishments like Bricks and Brews, Church Street Pool Room, Vantage Coffee Roasters, and the Masquerade Theater.
The newly built facility hosts the company’s brewing operations with a bar area for tasting. A large patio and grassy outdoor space are dog friendly, with a leash, and feature fire pits for those chilly nights. Inside are several televisions, with more activities slated to be added later on; including movie nights, shuffleboard, and live music. Patrons can order food from neighboring Bricks and Brews or The Market.
The brewery’s current hours are 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursdays and 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
