Photo gallery: Wind Ensemble performs Oct. 8

The UTM Wind Ensemble held their first concert of the year on Oct. 8 in the Harriet Fulton Theatre in the Fine Arts Building. Hosted by the UTM Department of Music, the event gave students, faculty and community members the chance to enjoy an evening of spectacular music and atmosphere. 

Arrangements presented included The Fairest of the Fair (1908) by John Philip Sousa, The Fairest of the Renaissance Faire (2024) by Erika Svanoe, Deep Underground (2024) by Roger Zare, Symphonic Dance No.3, “Fiesta,” (1967) by Clifton Williams, Caribana Afterparty (2023) by Omar Thomas, and Get on Your Feet (1987/2023) by George Merrill and Shannon Rubicam and arranged by Jarod Hall.

The group is under the direction of Dr. John Oelrich and consists of students from across all programs of study.
