Week eight is officially in the books, and here is another week of award predictions.
Let us find out if there were any changes from last week.
MVP: Josh Allen | QB | Bills
No surprise here, Allen stays in the lead for MVP after another impressive performance against a strong Seahawks defense. This time around he threw his first interception of the season, but he also added another two touchdowns. If he keeps this trend up, he will rightfully win MVP this year.

2. Derrick Henry | RB | Ravens +1
3. Lamar Jackson | QB | Ravens -1
OPOY: Derrick Henry | RB | Ravens
Similar to Allen, there is no change here. He and the Ravens are coming off a disappointing loss to the Browns, but Henry still showed out with over 75 total yards and one TD on just 12 touches. While this was one of Henry’s weaker games, it was still a good game overall and his production should continue.

2. Saquon Barkley | RB | Eagles -NEW-
3. Jamarr Chase | WR | Bengals -1
DPOY: Dexter Lawrence II | NT | Giants
Another week of a nose tackle doing things a nose tackle should not be able to do. Lawrence did not shock anyone on the stat sheet this week, but he had another week of terrorizing teams’ interior offensive lines. Truly sucks that he plays for the Giants though, who are at two wins and six losses on the year through eight games. Elite talent being wasted here.

2. Brian Branch | S | Lions +/-0
3. Will Anderson Jr. | EDGE | Texans -NEW-
OROY: Jayden Daniels | QB | Commanders
While Daniels did not do anything crazy this week (other than a lucky Hail Mary), he did just enough against a very good Bears defense to keep his position at number one. At this point barring an injury or something crazy falloff from Daniels, I do not see anyone else taking this award.

2. Marvin Harrison Jr. | WR | Cardinals -NEW-
3. Brian Thomas Jr. | WR | Jaguars -1
DROY: Jared Verse | EDGE | Rams
Remember last week how we said Verse did not look crazy on the stat sheet? Well he decided that was dumb and added on one and a half sacks, half a safety and a few tackles for loss. Similar to what I said last week, Verse is just like that, and I expect that to continue and for him to win this award come February.
