NFL 2024-25 week 13 awards predictions: Broncos go up and down

Another week of major changes in the weeks, I love football.

MVP: Josh Allen | QB | Bills

Allen put together arguably one of the most video game stat lines you will ever see, two passing touchdowns (TDs), one rushing TD and one receiving TD. That stat line marked just the third time in NFL history that a player performed a triple-crown in a game (one receiving, rushing and passing). Allen is simply put, the most valuable player, and without him, the Bills might be looking at a top-five pick.

2. Lamar Jackson | QB | Ravens -1

3. Saquon Barkley | RB | Eagles +/-0

OPOY: Saquon Barkley | RB | Eagles

Another week of Barkley doing Barkley things. Barkley put together another strong performance against the Ravens this week with another 100-yard rushing game. This puts Barkley at over 1400 rushing yards on the season. It also helped that Henry had a weaker week to boost Barkley’s case.

DPOY: Nik Bonitto | EDGE | Broncos

Out of nowhere (not really, Bonitto has been solid all year), Bonitto jumps up to the leader of DPOY. In his third season, Bonittos’s production has exploded and is currently second in sacks (11) and tied for eighth in tackles of loss. There’s not much else to say other than Bonitto has really gone under the radar this season but is finally starting to get his respect and coming into his own.

2. Myles Garrett | EDGE | Browns -1

3. Xavier McKinney | S | Packers -NEW-

OROY: Brock Bowers | TE | Raiders

And again, we have a switch between Bowers and Nix. This comes after strong play by Bowers (10 catches, 140 yards and one TD) and Nix having a weak game (one TD and two interceptions). What has separated Bowers from the rest of the rookies this year is not only him playing at an elite level, but one could also make the argument for being the best tight end in football this year.

2. Bo Nix | QB | Broncos -1

3. Caleb Williams | QB | Bears +/-0

DROY: Jared Verse | EDGE | Rams

This award is pretty much settled. Verse has done enough (barring injury) that I believe we will hear his name come February for the winner of the award. Verse had another week of being a monster in the pressure game but not showing out on the stat sheet. What also keeps him in this position is no defensive rookie really stood out this week.

Rank Movement: +/-0

2. Quinyon Mitchell | CB | Eagles +1

3. Braden Fiske | DE | Rams -1
