As late as we are into the year, I truly only feel as if one award has been locked up.

A surprise for me, to say the least. With that being said, even with that award, if the current leader gets hurt or has one bad game, maybe the voters’ views change.

MVP: Josh Allen | QB | Bills

Shocker, another week of elite quarterbacking by Josh Allen. I am gonna just gonna say Allen has been the best QB in football over the past two years. Dude has been insane, and what has really given him the edge this season is his lack of turnovers compared to recent years. That has always been the biggest argument against him, and now look at it: only five on the season.

OPOY: Saquon Barkley | RB | Eagles

Overall, it was a weak week for this award from the top two contenders, Saquon Barkley and Ja’Marr Chase. Barkley did not find the endzone once but was still a key reason for the Eagles’ win on Sunday versus the Steelers. On the other hand, Chase also played a factor in his team’s success, but, like Barkley, he did not find the endzone. I would argue this award is the closest race.

3. Justin Jefferson | WR | Vikings -NEW-

DPOY: Nik Bonitto | EDGE | Broncos

Just like that, Bonitto bounces back and takes the lead again. While the stat sheet of only half a sack may not blow you away other than a defensive touchdown, Bonitto was a key factor in the Bronco’s defensive success and win on Sunday. His pressure and win rate have been amazing this year, and I only expect that to continue as his DPOY campaign continues.

2. Danielle Hunter | EDGE | Texans -NEW-

3. Myles Garrett | EDGE | Browns -2

OROY: Jayden Daniels | QB | Commanders

“The Commander” has a nice ring to it, right? Daniels was slinging it against the Saints in their major win on Sunday. Daniels took over this award after a much-needed bounce-back game, and the other two big-name candidates, Brock Bowers and Bo Nix struggled in their matchups. I am interested to see how Daniels deals with the stout Eagles defense this week, though, as last time around, he struggled mightily.

Rank Movement: -NEW-

2. Brock Bowers | TE | Raiders -1

3. Brian Thomas Jr. | WR | Jaguars -NEW-

DROY: Calen Bullock | S | Texans

Bullock has quietly been one of the more fun defensive rookies in football this year. While yes he has struggled at times, his turnovers have been a huge part of this impressive season by the Texans defense. Bullock currently sits at first in rookie INTs and tied for fourth in INTs among all defenders. I do not expect he will win the award in the end but do not be shocked to hear his name come February.

2. Jared Verse | EDGE | Rams -1

3. Quinyon Mitchell | CB | Eagles -1
