We are almost done with the NFL regular season and the awards leaders are looking to finish strong to make their cases.
MVP: Josh Allen | QB | Bills
Another week of Josh Allen masterclass football. Allen got into the record book last week for being only the third player in NFL history in the last 30 years to have a receiving, rushing and passing touchdown (TD) all in the same game. This time around, Allen broke another record becoming the first player in NFL history to have three passing TDs and three rushing TDs in the same game. Allen is slowly starting to completely pull away in the MVP race with how this Bills offense is playing.

OPOY: Saquon Barkley | RB | Eagles
Is Barkley the best offensive player in football? I would say no, but he is easily having the best year and another 100 yard game against the Panthers only made his case even better for this award. I would say this award is more open though, as a certain Bengals WR is right on his trail. Barkley will need to keep up this pace if he wants to win his first OPOY award.Ā

3. Derrick Henry | RB | Ravens -1
DPOY: Myles Garrett | EDGE | Browns
Just like that, Garrett takes back his number one spot. This comes from two reasons. Reason one being, Garrett had another dominant showing in win rate against the Steelers along with adding a sack to his stats this year. Reason two being, Nik Bonitto did not play this week thus giving Garrett the edge overall.Ā

OROY: Brock Bowers | TE | Raiders
Kind of a weak week overall for the top offensive rookies. While yes, a few did show out, the top three I have listed did not do much. Bo Nix and Jayden Daniels were both on bye weeks thus their cases could not really go up nor down. Bowers was not even the best TE on his team this past week against the Buccaneers. Bowers keeps this spot though as he was only one to play out of the top candidates.Ā

DROY: Jared Verse | EDGE | Rams
It would not surprise me if we hear Verseās name for DPOY candidates next year. Just all around, he has been a very good and some would argue elite edge rusher this season. Now while yes, the stats may not wow you, his pass rush win rate is near the top of the league and he is doing this as a rookie. He also keeps this spot as again, similar to the OROY award, none of the top candidates had standout weeks.Ā
