The UTM’s smallbore record fell this weekend as the Skyhawk rifle teams completed an eventful weekend against Nebraska, Rose-Hulman and Ohio State.

The nationally-ranked UTM mixed rifle squad began the weekend with a matchup at Rose-Hulman on Nov. 2, where the program’s smallbore record was shattered. The Skyhawk women’s team tallied 4,467 points (2,184 smallbore, 2,283 air rifle), defeating Rose-Hulman (4,421).

In air rifle, Kroll was responsible for a team-high performance of 574 points. O’Brien followed with a 559 score while Jensen (553) and Stolley (536) also represented the Skyhawk mixed squad.

Alex Haid was the lone representative on the UTM women’s team. She fired a 543 in smallbore and a 550 in air rifle.

In women’s smallbore, Flint emerged with a team-leading 560 points. Goodwin was next with 555 points, followed by James’ score of 544 and Klaes’ 513 points.
