“Little Red” operation indicts 38 residents on drug charges

An undercover drug operation conducted by the Weakley County Sheriff’s Department code named “Little Red”, resulted in the indictment of 37 Weakley County residents and one Obion County resident.

All 38 suspects were indicted on a special called meeting of the Weakley County Grand Jury on July 14th.

According to police reports, the Weakley County Sheriff’s Department, Martin Police Department, Dresden Police Department, Gleason Police Department, Greenfield Police Department and the Obion County Sheriff’s Department started arresting the suspects that were indicted Thursday.Ā  The operation began as an effort to combat the sale of prescription medicine, but marijuana and methamphetamine were also found on those who were arrested.Ā  Also, 15 cars and trucks that were used to deliver the drugs were seized.

The suspects currently arrested and charged are as follows:

  • Ā Shyheim Shaquille Slayton, 20, of Union City, one count of sale of Schedule 6 marijuana.
  • Ā Ammie Michelle Langley, 44, of Martin, three counts of sale of Schedule 2 narcotics.
  • Ā Buck Warson, 30, of Martin, one count of sale of Schedule 6 marijuana.
  • Ā Christina Lynn Stepp, 35, of Martin, one count of sale of Schedule 6 marijuana.
  • Ā Cherie Wallace, 48, of Sharon, one count of sale of Schedule 2 narcotics.
  • Ā Joshua Allen White, 28, of Sharon, two counts of sale of Schedule 2 narcotics.
  • Ā Connie Burton, 59, of Greenfield, two counts of sale of Schedule 4 narcotics and two counts of TennCare fraud.
  • Ā Aaron Ciscell, 25, of Greenfield, one count of sale of Schedule 2 narcotics.
  • Ā Abbie McMillen, 28, of Greenfield, one count of sale of Schedule 2 narcotics.
  • Ā Joshua Cain Wood, 31, of Greenfield, two counts of sale of Schedule 2 narcotics.
  • Ā Echo Jackson, 26, of Greenfield, three counts of sale of Schedule 6 marijuana, one count of sale of Schedule 2 narcotics and one count of TennCare fraud.
  • Ā Lauren Danielle Wood, 27, of Greenfield, two counts of sale of Schedule 2 narcotics.
  • Brent Edward Winstead, 33, of Greenfield, two counts of sale of Schedule 2 narcotics.
  • Ā Joanie Winstead, 30, of Greenfield, one count of sale of Schedule 2 narcotics.
  • Ā Dawn Kayser, 46, of Greenfield, one count of sale of Schedule 2 narcotics.
  • Ā Amanda Grissom, 40, of Greenfield, one count of sale of Schedule 2 methamphetamine.
  • Ā Amanda Graves, 29, of Greenfield, one count of sale of Schedule 4 narcotics.
  • Ā Bonnie Nicole McAlister, 27, of Greenfield, one count of sale of Schedule 2 methamphetamine.
  • Ā Kristen Nicole Hopper, 25, of Greenfield, one count of sale of Schedule 2 methamphetamine.
  • Ā Chadwick T. Robinson, 29, of Greenfield, two counts of sale of Schedule 2 methamphetamine.
  • Ā Xavier D. Williams, 27, of Greenfield, one count of sale of Schedule 2 narcotics and one count of sale of Schedule 6 marijuana.
  • Ā William Evans, 28, of Dresden, one count of sale of Schedule 6 marijuana.Ā Ā  (When Evans was arrested, deputies found an additional four ounces of marijuana in his car along with other prescription medication).
  • Whitney Nicole Bowlin, 31, of Dresden, two counts of sale of Schedule 2 methamphetamine in Dresden City Park.
  • Ā Tanya Jo Williams, 33, of Gleason, two counts of sale of Schedule 2 narcotics.
  • Ā Steve Spears, 52, of Gleason, one count of sale of Schedule 2 narcotics.
  • Ā Brad S. Langley, 45, of Gleason, one count of sale of Schedule 2 narcotics and one count of sale of Schedule 4 narcotics in a school zone.
  • Ā Michelle Dawn Langley, 40, of Gleason, one count of sale of Schedule 2 narcotics.
  • Ā Heather Suzanne Gayhart, 34, of Gleason, one count of sale of Schedule 6 marijuana.
  • Ā Rachel N. Blalock, 33, of Gleason, one count of sale of Schedule 2 narcotics.
  • Ā Joshua A. Burton, 29, of Gleason, one count of sale of Schedule 6 marijuana.
  • Ā Jerry Carter, 58, of Dukedom, sale of Schedule 2 narcotics and one count of TennCare fraud.
  • Angela Larue, 34, of Sharon, two counts of sale of Schedule 2 narcotics and 2 two counts of TennCare fraud.
  • Joseph Frazier, 43, of Greenfield, one count of sale of Schedule 2 narcotics.
  • Andrew Kelley, 24, of Greenfield, two counts of sale of Schedule 6 narcotics.
  • Amber Frazier, 18, of Greenfield, two counts of sale of Schedule 4 narcotics.
  • Tasha Edge, 30, of Sharon, one count of sale of Schedule 2 narcotics.
  • James Lannom, 29, of Dresden, two counts of sale of Schedule 2 narcotics and one count of resisting arrest.
  • Brian Lee Brackett Jr., 22, of Dresden, one count of sale of Schedule 2 narcotics.

Crystal Renee Lecrone, 25, of Dresden was charged with accessory after the fact, Lecrone attempted to help hide James Lannom from deputies.
