Hana Elwood showcases her senior recital

On October 22, a senior recital was held in the recital hall in the Fine Arts Building from 7:30 p.m to 8:30 p.m. It was hosted by the UTM department of music with the presentation being held for the fulfillment of senior, Hana Elwood, as she completes her Bachelor of Music degree.

The music pieces that were performed at this recital includes: Tableaux de Provence (1948-1955) by Puale Maurice, Black (2008) by Marc Mellits, Rumba (1949) by Maurice Whitney and His Eye is on the Sparrow by Charles Gabriel and arranged by Stephen DeCesare.

Hana Elwood also studies with Dr. Douglas Owens. The recital included many guests including Dr. Chan Mi Jean on piano, Jason Hicks on tenor saxophone and baritone saxophone, Josh White on soprano saxophone, Landen Dougherty on baritone saxophone and Hana Elwood herself.
