On day one Justin Thomas had an impressive finish, shooting a 61, finishing -10, and then finishing day two shooting a 69, finishing -2 for a total of -12 through day two. Behind Thomas in second, it is tied between Si Woo Kim and Russell Henley, both being -10 through day two.
It was an unfortunate day two for last year’s RBC Heritage winner Scottie Scheffler. On day two, he shot a 70, finishing -1 on the day. For Scheffler, this was only rough since day one; he shot a 64, finishing -7. He now sits tied for sixth along with Mackenzie Hughes.
Rickie Fowler could be somebody to watch for finishing out this tournament. After day one, Fowler had shot a 72, finishing +1, but picked it up quickly, shooting a 67, finishing -4 with a -3 total to cap off day 2.
Winner Prediction: Tommy Fleetwood, who is currently -9 tied for fourth. Fleetwood had a rough going at the Masters where he finished -2 tied for twenty-first having two days where he shot over par. Now at the RBC Heritage Fleetwood is looking to finish strong after shooting a day one 67 and a day two 66 finishing -9.
He also has made a putter change from a blade to a mallet style putter for this event. Now Fleetwood is trying to grab his first career PGA tour win and walk away with that Red Tartan Plaid Jacket.
