Festival Watch: Bonnaroo 2016 has been announced

Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival has announced their line up and dates for their 15th annual music festival in Manchester, Tennessee.

Bonnaroo, a Woodstock-like music festival hosted here in Tennessee, attracts thousands of people to The Farm every summer for four days of music, art and an all around good time. This year’s headliners include Pearl Jam, Dead & Company, Ellie Goulding, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and more. In addition to the headline acts, The Roo will host artists from many genres of music including country artists like Sam Hunt, Chris Stapleton and Jason Isbell. These are only a few of the dozens of artists that will be seen on stage during the festival.

Part of the Bonnaroo experience includes roughing it on the campgrounds scattered between the stages. Guests have always had the option of bringing tents, RVs, or just laying under the stars, but this year, in celebration of the 15th anniversary, Bonnaroo will even provide onsite camping for an additional cost.

With glamping being the trend for many boho-wanna-bes, Bonnaroo has put their own twist to the glamping experience by incorporating “Le Bon Tents” and “Roll Like a Rockstar” into their festival. Festival attendees can purchase camping packages ranging from $575 to $32,500. The package starts off at a small souvenir tent option sleeping two, and rising all the way to the most extravagant package: a fully-loaded rock-star tour bus that sleeps eight.

For those who want to remain simplistic and keep the dream of a Woodstock revival alive, anyone with a full weekend pass can pay an additional $60 to stay on grounds for the entirety of the event. Free water is provided for all (campers and non campers alike) and ice vouchers are available for purchase to refill coolers. All are welcome, all are accepted and Bonaroo guarantees on their website that you will see and hear fascinating things while attending.
