Creative Corner

Bailey Radnitzer is a sophomore Studio Art major from Des Plaines, Illinois.

Art has always been a part of Radnitzer’s life from doodling and making paper books on her mom’s desk.

“To me, art is an outlet for creativity and its an opportunity to show the world what you believe, what interests you and what you want to say about absolutely anything,” Radnitzer said.

Radnitzer is the newly elected president of the League of Striving Artists (LSA).

LSA just completed their annual Legacy Project. The Legacy Project this year was the set of book benches newly placed in the Paul Meek Library.

“LSA has been one of the best experiences of my college career, and I encourage anyone interested in the arts to consider joining,” Radnitzer said.

Radnizter plans on attending graduate school to pursue a degree in higher education to be a professor of Art at the collegiate level.
