Walmart Pharmacy, in Martin, has reached out to the University as another location to receive the COVID vaccine. At this time, Walmart Pharmacy is accepting appointments for the following categories of participants:
Professors (faculty, lectures, adjuncts, etc.)
Anyone over 16 with any health condition (i.e. asthma, high blood pressure, diabetes, etc.)
To register for an appointment, please go to Walmart.com.
Walmart is also maintaining a waiting list for those outside of the above parameters. If they have doses left, they work from this list. You will need to call Walmart Pharmacy to be added to this list.
Another option that is available, based upon at least 50 employees, participating involves Walmart providing an onsite vaccine clinic at the University. If you are interested in receiving the vaccine through a clinic, instead of in person at Walmart, please fill out the form COVID Vaccine Interest. If you schedule an appointment directly with Walmart, please DO NOT fill out the form as this will duplicate numbers. Please be advised that filling out this form does not guarantee vaccination, but only seeks to gauge if a sufficient number of employees want to participate in an onsite vaccination opportunity. The deadline to fill out the interest form is Friday, March 26, 2021 by 10 a.m.
