Content creation with GarukuBluemoon

According to Frontiersin.org, Twitch has become quite a popular pastime for all ages, with the average user spending 95 minutes per day watching live streams on the platform. Among the age groups, college students make a large variety of those who watch Twitch streams.

A reason for this frontiersin.org mentions that it is due to college students trying to figure out a way to destress from everyday life challenges and other big steps in life. Oftentimes, these college students later look into Twitch streaming as another way to relieve stress or just have fun.

A Twitch streamer that goes by the name of GarukuBluemoon, also referred to as Gar, is an active Twitch streamer who has a following of just over 40,000. During his interview, he mentions a few suggestions for college students who are wanting to start creating content. Gar suggests moving at your own pace and to schedule your time wisely with both college work and content creation. He also mentions that if you have extra free time after making sure you study, attend class, and complete your assignments, then you should definitely go for it if you want to become a content creator.

When asked what got him into creating content, GarukuBluemoon responded with how he first started to create content for YouTube back in high school, although he did not go too much further during that time. Later, he found inspiration from the YouTube creators that go by the name Smosh, and once Gar got into college, he became more involved with other YouTubers and content creators. The content creators included Markiplier, Muyskerm, Lordminion777, Jpw03, and Patrickstatic, and with their encouragement, Gar Created his channel and started creating his content for various platforms.

As a content creator, GarukuBluemoon’s goal is to ultimately make someone’s day better through laughter and let the viewer who is watching be able to wind down from whatever day they were having. Gar mentions that becoming a content creator himself allowed him to express himself and overcome past anxieties. From these past experiences, Gar uses his platform to bring awareness to anxiety, mental disorders, and to allow those who do have these disorders to have a better day.

At the end of the interview GarukuBluemoon left off with a powerful statement, saying “If you really want something, I say go for it. There is nothing you can really lose other than saying you failed, but at least you tried. You had that opportunity to try something different and grown from it and you may never have known if you never tried it.”
