Worship, fellowship and testimony all transpired at the first-ever “Well in the Quad,” hosted by the Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM) on Monday, October 21, 2024. The service started off with some songs performed by the BCM Worship Team, led by Bella Bone, who helped organize the event. The songs performed were Praise You Anywhere, Great Are You Lord, Yes I Will, and Build My Life. Testimonies were shared by two Fellowship of Christian Athlete (FCA) leaders, senior Rileigh Weiss and junior Jeffrey Bourassa. Tennessee Baptist Mission Board Youth Specialist Jay Barbier also preached as a guest speaker, reading a passage from James Chapter 4 and confessing his personal struggles as he battled stage 3 cancer. The event had 88 individuals in attendance and was positively received by the student body.
The BCM plans to hold another “Well in the Quad” in the spring 2025 semester.
