It’s September in Martin, Tennessee, which means it’s time for the 29th annual Tennessee Soybean Festival.
Starting Thursday, Sept. 8, events are to kick off bright and early during the Farmers Breakfast, located at Tennessee Tractor at 6:30 a.m.
Every year the Soybean Festival plays host to several live music performances, all of which are enjoyed by the community.
Thursday night starting at 7 p.m., country artist Chris Jansen will be performing at the WK&T Amphitheater with Shane Proffitt opening.

website tnsoybeanfestival.org with pit and bleacher tickets for $25 and reserved chairs for $35. Any remaining tickets will be available for purchase at the WK&T box office on the day of the show starting at 5:30 p.m.
On Friday, Sept. 9, classic ’80s rock band .38 Special will perform at 7 p.m. at the WK&T Amphitheater with an opening act by Zep LA, a Led Zeppelin Tribute Band. Tickets for .38 Special are available on the Soybean Festival’s website; remaining tickets will be available on the day of the concert at 5:30 p.m. from the WK&T box office. Ticket prices are $20 for pit seating; reserved chair seating has prices from $20 to $25.
Finally, wrapping things up for this year’s festival on Saturday, Sept. 10, will be Bohemian Queen, the Queen tribute band, making their return once again to the Tennessee Soybean Festival.
Jukes of June will be performing the opening act. Tickets will be available for purchase from the Soybean Festival website, and any remaining tickets will be available for purchase at the WK&T box office with tickets ranging from $10 to $15.
